Dec 16, 2017 · SteamVR is not detecting the PiMax 4K. I revalidated and sure enough it found an issue and redownloaded a few files. Boot into Windows -> Plug in headset, Portal should appear -> Turn on controllers, they should light up brighter when detected -> Put headset on, it may ask you to look around so it finds your room boundary and go into cliff house when done -> Launch steamVR from the Cliff House -> pick something from the Steamvr dashboard and launch it. As the subject says, my primary issue is that the “CXR” headset (and controllers) never appear in the SteamVR control panel, and instead it reports that “Headset Not Detected” message. Along with that when I attempt to pair them in the SteamVR program, it tells me that there was no hardware detected to pair the controllers to despite being able to look through my headset and see that it is working. This happens about a second after I turn either of them on. They need to allow rollback. I've checked and I have the right drivers. This is because Microsoft has rolled out update 24H2 which removes WMR support entirely. Any Ideas on what to do to fix this? Jul 15, 2020 · They seem to have completely broken steam vr for WMR.
